A new line of foil tapes for HVAC systems is specially formulated for extreme temperatures. Available under the Nashua® and Polyken® brands, the 330 extreme weather foil tape is designed for securing joints and seams in ductwork. The acrylic adhesive is designed to maintain adhesion in temperatures from -35 degrees to 260 degrees F. Using a "quick stick" formulation, the tape has a conformable foil backing that will match most laminated ductwork, says the company. Three roll sizes are available: 48 millimeters by 46 meters, 72 millimeters by 46 meters, and 2.5 inches by 50 yards.
