The Evolution System ties all of the company's most advanced units and accessories into one, seamless, integrated system powered by an easy-to-use unit, says the manufacturer. The basic Evolution System includes a variable-speed furnace, either a heat pump or a two-speed air conditioner, and the Evolution control. According to the company, this control links and manages temperature, humidity, airflow, ventilation, indoor air quality, and zoning; it can manage up to eight zones. It also offers a large backlit display, user-friendly programmability, and communication capabilities, which can advise the user of when it's time for regular maintenance and filter changes. The complete system offers several options designed to improve overall comfort and indoor air quality, including humidifiers, ventilation systems, electronic air cleaners, and ultraviolet germicidal lights.
