The AIT-SmarTec® liquid refrigerant identifier accurately identifies single-component refrigerants and refrigerant blends to 99.5-percent purity levels in one step, the company says. Refrigerants it can detect include R-12, -22, -134a, -401A, -402A, -404A, -407C, -408A, -409A, -410A, and -507; it can be upgraded to include additional refrigerants. The operating pressure is 0 to 500 psia and the maximum design pressure is 750 psia. Results can be printed out for confirmation and auditing purposes. According to the manufacturer, the AIT-SmarTec offers auto-calibration and one-button testing for quick, easy operation.
