Texas Contractor Makes Good First Impressions

Doug McKinney, president of Jack’s A/C in Longview, TX, said that uniformed employees make good first impression. He should know, since his employees have been wearing uniforms for at least 25 years.

“It makes the customer feel more comfortable when an employee is uniformed,” McKinney said. “They see that the uniform is labeled with a company’s name. Employees are easily identifiable when they are coming out to a residential location, and they are in a uniform that has the company name or brand name of the equipment. It’s just more professional.”

McKinney, a member of the Arcoaire Advantage Dealer Alliance, added, “We have complete uniforms with shirts, pants, and hats. Some of our uniforms also have the employee’s name on them.”
