Greenheck Adds to RTU Lineup

NEW MODEL RTU: Greenheck has added the Model RT-40 to its lineup of rooftop units. The Model RT-40 is available in capacities ranging from 6.5 tons to 10 tons.
SCHOFIELD, Wis. — Greenheck Fan Corp.’s rooftop unit (RTU) offering now includes the Model RT-40, which delivers packaged direct-expansion cooling, 1,200 to 5,000 cfm of airflow, and 100 to 300 MBH of indirect gas heating. The Model RT-40 is available in capacities ranging from 6.5 tons to 10 tons.
Model RT-40 joins Models RT-70 and RT-120 in the Greenheck RTU lineup. The RT revolutionizes indoor comfort by controlling both temperature and humidity with industry-leading features as standard, a Greenheck press release said. These include inverter scroll compressors that maximize efficiency at part-load conditions, direct-drive supply and exhaust fans that offer a wide performance range and standard modulation capabilities for variable air volume systems, and electronically commutated (EC) fan motors on condenser fans that modulate to save energy by controlling head pressure.
Additional options to meet project needs include air-source heat pumps for all-electric cooling and heating, modulating hot gas reheat that enables simultaneous cooling and dehumidification without overcooling, modulating powered exhaust to maintain space pressure, and modulating gas furnaces for tight temperature control without the need for cycling.
