A recognized leader in jobsite safety, Armistead Mechanical takes a proactive and comprehensive approach to protecting its employees. The company employs a dedicated safety team, including two full-time safety professionals, who oversee rigorous training programs, compliance initiatives, and jobsite protocols to maintain a secure and efficient working environment.

Also, at the MCAA Convention, Armistead Mechanical presented two $5,000 scholarships in memory of Robert “Bob” Armistead, who served as MCAA President in 2010. The scholarships, established in 2024, honor Bob’s leadership, dedication and impact on the mechanical contracting industry.

The scholarships are awarded to MCAA Student Chapter Presidents enrolled in a four- or five-year program, or a two-year program with an MCAA student chapter, pursuing careers in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, or related fields. The 2024 recipients are Gina Carnovale from Kent State University and Bruno Portes from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
