WAUNAKEE, Wis. — David Rice is the new vice president of sales and marketing at RenewAire, a manufacturer of HVAC and IAQ products.
Rice brings to the role more than 37 years of diverse work experience that includes product development and marketing as well as consulting engineering for industry-leading mechanical and electrical companies, a press release from RenewAire said. He is responsible for leading the ongoing development and implementation of RenewAire’s energy recovery ventilator (ERV) and dedicated outdoor air systems (DOAS) sales channels and marketing strategies, the release said.
“David is an outstanding sales executive and a talented project engineer,” said Scott Forest, president of RenewAire. “His addition will help RenewAire and its channel partners continue growing and expanding market share.”
Much of Rice’s career was spent at divisions of Eaton Corp. He served the Eaton Bussmann division in various sales, marketing, and product-management positions, including as senior product manager and, earlier, business development manager. He was also vice president of marketing and product development for electrical accessories manufacturer Eaton B-Line.
Rice has also held COO positions at Bitrode Corp. and Baero North America. He began his career at the consulting engineering firm R. H. George & Associates and later joined CHP & Associates, where he was a project engineer on a variety of performing arts centers, hospitals, education buildings, and other projects.
Rice holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Houston and was a Charles Knight Scholar recipient while receiving his master’s in business administration at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. He is a recognized consultant in National Electric Code (NEC) issues and compliance.
