He joined the industry in 2010 and, more than a decade later, now works for Heatcraft Refrigeration Products as a senior sales engineer.

Since 2010, Michael has benefitted from learning and growing with what he calls “some of the best teammates, leaders, and customers in the HVACR industry.” He has been encouraged, mentored, invested in, and given the opportunity to grow the company’s refrigeration business.

Maddox tries to pass on those investments he received to the next generation of HVACR professionals through mentorship and volunteering. He believes that the best leaders are approachable, communicate effectively, and are passionate, adaptable, informed, and intentional. Maddox works every day to emulate those leadership qualities.

He has been recognized for that work throughout his time with Heatcraft. Michael was awarded Sales Engineer of the Year in 2022, and he has won the company’s Rising Star Award and Business Development Award twice.

“My daily goals are to continue learning and helping my customers succeed. If I can do those two things today, then is was a successful day,” Maddox said.
