PRICE INCREASES

SPX Cooling Technologies Inc. (Overland Park, Kansas) has announced a price increase on Marley, Recold, and SGS Refrigeration products, effective Jan 1, 2021, to offset commodity increases.

Allied Air Enterprises (West Columbia, South Carolina) announced a price increase between 4% and 6% beginning Feb. 1, 2021, due to inflationary pressures to due to transportation and input costs.

Nortek Global HVAC (St. Louis) announced a price increase of up to 6% on residential, aftermarket, original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and light commercial products, effective March 1, 2021.

Pro Nortek Air Solutions (St. Louis) announced a 3-9% increase on all of its products, effective Jan. 1, 2021.

 

MANUFACTURERS

ERIKS North America (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) and Continental Conveyor Belt (Tulsa, Oklahoma) announced an expanded partnership.

GE Appliances (Louisville, Kentucky) launched Air & Water Solutions (Columbia, Missouri).

AtmosAir Solutions (Fairfield, Connecticut) partnered with Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. (Miami, Florida) to install continuous disinfection air purification systems across its 28-ship fleet for its three brands.

RectorSeal (Houston) acquired TRUaire (Santa Fe Springs, California).

 

MANUFACTURER REPS

Nationwide Boiler Inc. (Fremont, California), sales representative for Superior Boiler (Hutchinson, Kansas) in select areas, will now cover the southern California territory.

 

HVAC RESIDENTIAL MARKET

IERNA’s Heating & Cooling Inc. (Lutz, Florida) and Trotter Air Services LLC (Plano, Texas) were named the 2020 Charles Bryant Award winners.

Absolute Air Flow (Westminster, California) acquired Preferred Air Conditioning Heating and Plumbing (Indio, California).

 

ORGANIZATIONS

The Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) and Inside the Blueprint TV (ITB) have entered into a partnership that will support contractor needs through educational content.

Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) announced its new chairman of the board is Michael Schwartz, CEO, Daikin Applied Americas (Minneapolis).
