TINTON FALLS, N.J. — Honoring healthcare workers on the frontlines of the COVID-19 crisis, A.J. Perri has announced the ARS Cares Healthcare Heroes program. The initiative is providing free, brand-new HVAC systems and water heaters to deserving recipients in 24 states — including right here in New Jersey.

Since 2017, A.J. Perri has been operating a related program, A.J. Perri Cares, providing free HVAC and water systems for New Jersey veterans and active military personnel in need. ARS Cares is the national arm of the program, with Healthcare Heroes recognizing the dedicated healthcare professionals who provide uninterrupted essential services and keep communities safe during the pandemic. Since its launch, ARS Cares has completed more than 90 home services makeovers, donating more than $500,000 of HVAC systems and water heaters.

“Every day, thousands of healthcare workers are confronting COVID-19, putting others first and making tremendous personal sacrifices," said Christian Dunning, general manager of A.J. Perri. “Our brave healthcare workers deserve to have their homes be an environment in which they can relax and recharge. The Healthcare Heroes Program is just another way we can help the most deserving among us feel appreciated during these challenging times.”

Open immediately, the nomination period will close on Friday, May 29. ARS's national network of brands will then select the recipient in each market and complete installation of the new system the week of June 8.  Individuals can make nominations for the ARS Cares Healthcare Heroes Program at ajperri.com/arscares.
