ARLINGTON, Va. — The Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) announced several improvements in the search method to find variable refrigerant flow (VRF) multi-split air conditioning and heat pump equipment product listings in the AHRI Directory of Certified Product Performance. The new functionality allows for searches based on manufacturer, model number, product type, or certified ratings.

“Spurred by a desire to save energy, regulators at the federal, state, and local levels are increasingly motivated to depend upon AHRI for the accurate and unbiased evaluation of HVACR and water heating equipment,” said Stephen Yurek, AHRI president and CEO. “As part of our ongoing effort to improve the usability of our directory, we are pleased to offer this improved functionality for VRF equipment on our directory.”
