Worthington Announces Price Increase on Refrigerant Cylinders
Company said steel material prices have increased significantly over the past several months
COLUMBUS, Ohio — Worthington Industries announced a price increase on all non-refillable refrigerant cylinders produced at its manufacturing operations. Prices will advance 10 percent effective with shipments starting on Sept. 1, 2016.
“Steel material prices have increased significantly over the past several months,” said Dusty McClintock, vice president and general manager of the Worthington Industries pressure cylinders business.
“Every effort has been made to minimize the impact of rising raw material costs. However, recent raw material pricing has significantly escalated our production costs and we must adjust pricing accordingly.”
