The Horizon Model 245 multioil single-pass heater is fueled by used crankcase oil, transmission and hydraulic fluids, as well as other petroleum-based lubricants. According to the manufacturer, the targetless fire-chamber design eliminates the need and cost of a burner target while the innovative tubeless technology means reduced cleaning time and no tube replacement or repair costs. The heat exchanger design reduces corners and thermal stress points to provide longer life and easier cleanout. With dual stack connections and air outlets, the heater offers versatile venting and louvering options. The heater offers ratings of 2,780 blower cfm, 160°F (71°C) outlet air temperature, 2 cfm at 40 psi/0.05 m3 at 275 kPa compressed air requirement, and approximately 188,000-Btuh heater output.
