CHICAGO - LG Electronics held a press conference Tuesday morning at the AHR Expo to showcase the future of connected buildings from its building management solutions and controls to residential IoT products.
CHICAGO - Carrier used the AHR Expo in Chicago to introduce their new 9,000 BTU single-zone ductless system rated at 42 SEER.
“This is the most efficient air conditioner you will see in the market. That is a pretty bold statement,” Meredith Emmerich, Carrier Ductless and Variable Refrigerant Flow Marketing Director.
The efficiency will help Carrier deliver greater flexibility to customers in colder climates, for example the 9,000 BTUh, 42 SEER, and 15 HSPF single-zone system can provide 100 percent cooling capacity down to -22 degrees Fahrenheit and 100 percent heating capacity down to -5 degrees Fahrenheit.

Combine that with a Republican-led House and Senate, and the attendees at the meeting were excited about the upcoming political climate.
It happened quickly. At least it felt that way as I went from being the youngest person on staff to being the old dude at the office. But, in retrospect, there were several stages.
At its recent 2017 Global Sales Conference, the company introduced its eco-Air™ Series of dry and adiabatic products. For a company that built its reputation on the wet side of the industry, it was a bit of a turn.
When Wayne Gretzky was asked in an interview why he was so good, the Hall of Famer stated that he skated to where the puck was “going” to be rather than where the puck was at the time. And much like Gretzky, you should not necessarily be looking at what your market is demanding this week or even next month. Skate to where the puck is going to be.
