ASHRAE, in partnership with the International Code Council, has opened a second public review period for the proposed Standard 240P – Quantification of Life Cycle Greenhouse Gas Emissions of Buildings. 

As a safe, clean, and readily available energy source that produces 52 percent fewer greenhouse gas emissions than the average U.S. electric grid, propane supports the energy demands of businesses, industries and facilities, while also supporting reduced emissions goals.

The certification recognizes that the carbon emissions-reduction technology in the two Haier air conditioning products has successfully completed SGS’s analysis and certification audit for greenhouse gas emissions throughout its lifecycle.
