VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — The National Air Filtration Association (NAFA) will host its annual technical seminar — TECH2012 — April 18-20 in Phoenix.

TECH2012 will feature presentations on technical topics including current technology, emerging research, practical application, and experienced-based presentations. Sheryl Johnson, Denali Inc., will present information on integrating social media into marketing and customer relations efforts; Don Largent, ATI Equipment Introduction, will conduct a hands-on workshop; Mike Harriman, Aeolus Filter Corp., will present on the topic of nanofiber filtration; Hal Levin, Building Ecology Research Group, and Leslye Sandberg will give updates to the new Installation, Operation, and Maintenance of Air Filtration, third edition, 2012 manual. A panel of industry experts will discuss ANSI/ASHRAE 52.2 standards.

Additional certification program training will be held one day prior to the conference, Tuesday, April 17. The training session targets technicians involved in filter service and replacement, those seeking NAFA certified technician accreditation, and those who already have the NCT and want to get involved in changing bag-in/bag-out filtration housings — the NCT Level II accreditation.
