ARLINGTON, Va. — Raymond J. Mach has been named director of education for the Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Institute (ARI). Mach is responsible for liaison with approximately 1,400 high school and post-secondary training programs that teach HVACR classes.
"It’s exciting to be part of such a broadly based program that is dedicated to helping instructors in all parts of the country," said Mach. "The coming year offers many opportunities to expand what we have done in the past. These include publication next year of the fourth edition of ARI's Refrigeration and Air Conditioning textbook plus development of presentations by industry experts at the Instructor Workshop on topics like wireless technology, variable speed motors, and troubleshooting hydronic systems."
