Knauf Insulation: Duct Insulation
The Friendly Feel™ duct wrap is soft due to binder composition and fiberization manufacturing, says the company. The KwikStretch® markings are applied to the staple flanges of the product's foil-scrim kraft and polypropylene-scrim kraft facings, allowing for fast, easy, and accurate measurement without a tape measure, states the manufacturer. The company says that this duct wrap reduces energy usage, improves HVAC system efficiency, and controls exterior duct sound for rectangular or round sheet metal ducts.
