The Sylax Series butterfly valves are now available in 2- to 24-inch sizes. Both the wafer and the lug styles can be provided with a 10-position locking lever handle or optional gear operator or a standard ISO top flange for direct mounting of electric/pneumatic actuators. These valves feature an internally and externally epoxy-coated cast iron body with a self-centering floating disc, providing 100-percent sealing with a tongue-and-groove resilient seat, says the company. According to the manufacturer, the design incorporates a blowout-proof full through-size, one-piece valve stem supported by upper and lower low-friction bearings and an internal spline stem/disc drive.
