The Super Brute UPS15-58FC/FRC three-speed pump has a removable check valve that prevents thermosiphoning, allows for controlled system flow, and is ideal for zoning with circulators, the company says. The pump has a 115-V, 1/25-HP, two-pole, single-phase motor. This pump has the industry’s highest starting torque, even at the lowest speed, the company claims. The maximum fluid temperature for a closed system is 230 degrees F with a minimum temperature of 36 degrees. Applications for the pump include hydronic heating in multifamily residences, institutions such as office parks, colleges, and light commercial installations, as well as in radiant heating systems for floor-installed zoning loops.
