The S-Series Models 1000, 1200, 1350, and 1800 ice machines use a new, patented Air Assist Harvest technology. This air-assisted method uses a small, onboard air compressor to inject air between the ice slab and the evaporator plate during the harvest cycle. The air pressure is dispersed evenly to all the cells on the evaporator, applying an even pressure to the entire ice slab, states the company.
