Solaire™ is a new line of room air conditioners for residential and light commercial applications. Models include 5,000-, 5,400-, 6,000-, 8,000-, 10,000-, and 12,000-Btu sizes. They are 115-V units. Features include electronic controls, a three-speed fan, four-way air discharge, cleanable/replaceable rigid mesh filter, remote control, and fresh air/exhaust on all 8,000- to 12,000-Btu units. The entire line is suited for window mounts, and all units come with window-mounting kit, the company states. The 12,000-Btu model can be installed either through the wall or in a window.
