Parker Hannifin Corp., Parflex Division: ANTIFUNGAL DRAIN HOSE

This new antifungal drain hose is designed for hvac and beverage dispensing applications. The hose features PVC construction and a smooth-bore inner surface that provides superior resistance to fungus, algae, mold, bacteria, and other microorganisms that contribute to clogging and unsanitary conditions, the company says. For extra protection against condensation, insulated hose jacket models are offered. The insulation is recommended for warmer environments that may contain airborne yeast, says the company.
