SAN LEANDRO, Calif.  — Energy Recovery Inc., a manufacturer in the worldwide commercial and industrial fluid-flow market, won the Refrigeration Innovation of the Year Award during the recent Atmosphere America Summit 2023 in Washington, D.C.

Energy Recovery was honored for its PX G1300 pressure exchanger, which uses technology to maximize energy efficiency in a high-pressure CO₂ system, transferring energy from high-pressure to low-pressure CO₂. This improves the efficiency of CO₂ systems and reduces costs and emissions.
