The QwikSEER+WattSaver® is an electronic control that operates in the cooling mode of an existing air conditioner or heat pump. The QwikSEER+® control board enables the latent multispeed capability of a PSC motor, yielding much of the benefit provided by variable-speed ECM motors.

 When the system starts in cooling mode, QwikSEER+® compares system operating conditions at different fan speeds, and determines the optimal fan speed to maximize performance. This flexibility allows QwikSEER+® to optimize air-handler PSC blower speed, thus improving energy efficiency and lowering humidity levels.
