Description: Sine Wave filters eliminate premature motor damage caused by over voltages, cable ringing, motor overheating, and eddy current losses caused by variable frequency drives (VFD). Suitable for motor frequencies up to 600 Hz, this technology converts the rectangular pulse width modulation (PWM) output voltage of motor drives into a smooth sine wave with low residual ripples. In addition to elongating the service life of expensive high-speed motors, Schaffner Sine Wave filters can improve bearing life by eliminating circulating bearing currents.
