Nordyne: Air-Source Heat Pumps
The Maytag® PSH4BE and MSH4BE 14/15-SEER air-source heat pumps now include all-aluminum microchannel condensing coils. When combined with Maytag coils or air handlers, the heat pumps deliver high-efficiency 14 SEER cooling and 8.0-plus HSPF heating, or 15 SEER cooling if a Maytag variable-speed gas furnace or air handler is used. Features of the PSH4BE include a stainless steel jacket and ComfortAlert module, which detects system and electrical problems and directs the service technician to the cause of the problem. Features of the MSH4BE in-clude galvanized steel with a polyester urethane finish and use of SmartCool 410 (R-410A) refrigerant.
