IRVING, Texas — WIT & Co. recently held its 2013 Distributor/Vendor Conference at the Hilton Anatole Hotel in Dallas, with more than 700 people attending the event.

The weeklong conference featured meetings with WIT’s board of directors, biannual committee meetings, programming for WIT distributors, WIT works networking roundtable discussions, and a purchasing agent workshop.

Distributor/vendor meetings lasted two days, and included more than 6,700 individual scheduled meetings.

During the conference, WIT welcomed two new members: Dakota Supply Group, Fargo, N.D., and T.A. Gentry Supply, Kalamazoo, Mich.

The general session closed with a keynote address by Frank Dowd IV, chairman of the board at Charlotte Pipe & Foundry Co., Charlotte, N.C.
