Duct-free mini-split models are available in 9,000, 12,000, 18,000, and 24,000 Btu, and come in ratings to 20 SEER. The 17 and 19 SEER Series are heat pump models and use inverter technology to achieve even greater energy savings and lower levels of noise and vibration. The 13 SEER units come in cool-only and heat-pump models. Standard functions include Energy Saver, dehumidify, sleep mode, 24-hour timer, auto-restart, and self-cleaning evaporator among others. The 17 SEER models have three filters: an activated carbon; a negative ion; and a three-in-one anti-allergen, anti-viral, anti-bacterial filter, which helps clean the air and maintains a healthy environment in the room, the company said. The 19 SEER models also have the activated carbon and three-in-one anti-allergen filters as well as a child-safety lock. All models come with an easy-to-use remote control and Intelligent Air, which redirects the flow of air according to a person’s location in the room.
