OKLAHOMA CITY — LSB Industries Inc. recently announced that it plans to restart and phase-in substantial production at its El Dorado, Ark., chemical facility in the next 30-90 days. On May 15, the facility had suffered a chemical explosion and had ceased production, pending repairs.

“We are on track to restart production at the El Dorado facility and are very encouraged by the progress the El Dorado team has made in a short period of time,” said Barry Golsen, president and COO of LSB. “We plan to repair El Dorado as soon as possible as we consider it an important part of our overall chemical business.”
