ARLINGTON, VA — The Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) has announced changes to its staff structure as the trade association completes the final step in a three-year reorganization program. On January 1, 2003, ACCA and its state and local affiliates will integrate into one national federation, establishing educational and program partnerships, and promoting contractor interests in states, communities, and Washington, DC.
To position ACCA headquarters staff to partner with state and local chapters and meet changing member needs, Paul T. Stalknecht, president and CEO of ACCA, announced the creation of a new Membership Services department to oversee membership marketing, development, and analysis. “ACCA and our affiliates want to represent the best contractors in the country, not necessarily the most,” Stalknecht said. “Working with our chapter leaders, we are developing aggressive programs to identify those best contractors, the ones who share our vision, and bring them on board.”
