The Aprilaire Model 4897 Upgrade Kit for Media Air Cleaners helps HVAC contractors recapture lost replacement media revenue in existing media air cleaners with an easily assembled and installed frame that accepts only patented Aprilaire replacement media. Contractors benefit from increased replacement media revenue and consolidation of their replacement media inventory. They also are able to offer superior air cleaning with patented Aprilaire replacement media available only through the HVAC channel.
USB Temperature-Humidity Data Logger with LCD Display
General’s pocket-sized HT50 USB Humidity/Temperature Data Logger measures temperature and humidity readings from -31° to 212°F, and records over 8,000 pairs of ambient temperature and relative humidity readings over a period of days, weeks, or months. The product’s built-in IR thermometer enables spot-checking of surface temperatures onsite for immediate diagnosis and to allow further investigation. Ultra-portable and user-friendly, the data captured and stored on the device can be uploaded to a PC by plugging the unit into a USB port.
The patent pending FlexFilter™ from Field Controls LLC is an ultra compact, easy-to-assemble media air cleaner that replaces at least 25 of the most popular models, according to the company. Primary function is to filter the air in the home properly and efficiently. Made of heavy duty kraft board construction with radial pleat design, the filter material is electrostatically enhanced, 100 percent synthetic media that is moisture and bacteria resistant. It features a MERV 11 media and heavy duty button that snap into place quickly and easily.
Broan’s Universal Make-Up Air Dampers can be installed without a direct wired connection. The air flow sensor assembly installs directly to the range hood; and the damper assembly may be inserted into a 6” or 8” duct running from an exterior wall to the cold air return of a forced-air system. If there is no forced air return, the make-up air duct can be run to a wall or ceiling register in a location that minimizes concerns about drafts and maintains a five-foot separation from the cooking appliance or hood. The sealed motorized damper assembly and air flow sensor equalize air intake and exhaust, establishing the ideal balance in air pressure levels for proper ventilation and increased energy savings.
