Michigan Community Action Agency Association (MCAAA) has been awarded two grants related to energy efficiency and low-income families, including a $15 million grant to administer a federal Department of Energy (DOE)-American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) program to weatherize low-income, multi-unit housing across the state.

Bryant Heating and Cooling Systems has named Edina, Minn.-based Pronto Heating and Air Conditioning as the 2009 Bryant Dealer of the Year. Pronto was one of 15 Medal of Excellence regional winners. Of those 15, Pronto received the highest overall score, which earned it the Dealer of the Year title.

Armstrong International and Cleaver-Brooks announced that they have joined together to offer customers expanded training in steam generation and system optimization and efficiency. Murphy Co. has been honored with the 2010 Best Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing Subcontractor Category A Award by the American Subcontractors Association-Midwest Council. Murphy was recognized at the association’s 17th Annual Awards Gala.
