Colleen Holohan

EAST PETERSBURG, Pa. - The Oil Heat Cares Charitable Foundation accepted the resignation of board member Dan Holohan and voted to fill the vacant seat with Colleen Holohan, his daughter. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Social Science and Public and Community Service Studies from Providence College, Providence, R.I., and has worked for several years with AmeriCorps, a national organization of volunteers dedicated to improving education, public safety, health, and the environment in American communities.

Currently she is running a post-graduate full time volunteer program out of Northeastern University and working on her master’s in Non-Profit Management. According to Oil Heat Cares, Holohan will bring a wealth of community-service based experience to the position and board members look forward to working with her on future association projects. “It is truly an honor for me to be on the Oil Heat Cares board and carry on my father’s work,” said Holohan. “I respect and admire all of the work OHC has done and I’m really excited to be a part of it.”
