"Cbiajobs.com was established with one goal in mind - to allow employers and job seekers to find each other quickly and easily," said Robert Rivinius, CBIA Chief Executive Officer. "This site answers the building industry's need to put employers and job seekers together at a time when the supply and demand for positions and qualified employees seem to be heading in opposite directions."
The site is organized by job category and geographic location, and includes helpful tools such as interviewing tips, salary surveys, and how to write a winning resume.
While 75 percent of people online have used the Internet to search for a job, only 20 percent report being satisfied with the quality of Internet job postings. Nevertheless, the Internet is an essential component of people's employment strategies. In fact, 67 percent of Net surfers expect to conduct most of their next job search online.

Although any California company can post jobs on the site, local CBIA-affiliated companies get significant discounts, and the cost of posting jobs decreases the more an employer lists at the site.
