BROADVIEW, Ill. — More than 35 contractors will be developing a better understanding of green building practices and principles at The Unified Group’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) for new construction accreditation exam training March 25-26 in Chicago.

The preparatory course will be taught by Dave Hubka, sustainable project manager at Total Mechanical Inc. in Pewaukee, Wis.

“There has been a lot of interest among our members to do a LEED training,” said Julie Bishop, executive director.

The day and a half course will cover the LEED process and the prerequisites/credits. It will also include sample test questions and a Q&A session at the end of each day.

For more information or to register, contact Allison Rodgers at 708-774-0858 or at rodgersa@theunifiedgroup.com.
