Gamewell-FCI, a Honeywell company: Smoke Evacuation System
The E3 Series expandable emergency evacuation system is UL-approved for controlling smoke throughout a building/structure per the new ninth edition of UL code 864. The series can be installed to work in conjunction with nondedicated HVAC equipment to form a system controlling the flow of smoke in a building during a fire condition. Utilizing fans, ducts, and dampers, the system uses compartmentalization and pressurization to limit and/or control smoke movement within a building. It features a modular design for a customized fit as well as complete system integration over two wires or fiber optic cables. The smoke control system has distributed communication controls to increase the probability of system survivability during a fire or other catastrophic event. Features include broadband network capabilities and a visually clear and intuitive LCD screen, which assists on-site response by emergency personnel.
