The MONA (Mobile Navigator) is a mobile phone-based navigation system. It helps users navigate to their scheduled job trips and business stops, as well as find unfamiliar locations. A downloadable application for a monthly fee, the system turns a wireless phone into a portable, global positioning system-enabled, turn-by-turn, voice-guided navigation device. The service requires no additional contracts or equipment. MONA automatically alerts and reroutes drivers who miss or make an incorrect turn. Destination addresses can be entered online from a business or home computer, and then automatically downloaded to the user's phone.
