FloLogic Systemâ„¢ 3.0 is an automatic water shutoff system designed to minimize or prevent damage caused by leaks in a residential water supply line or failures in plumbing system components. The shutoff system couples a custom-engineered flow sensor with an intuitive user interface to control a motor-driven ball valve that shuts off the water supply when an unusual flow is detected. The valve and flow sensor assembly can be installed indoors or out-of-doors, either above or below grade, in any orientation. This version can detect less than 1 ounce/minute of water flowing into a home and features an integrated battery backup with standby power that lasts up to a week. The system can be linked to security, irrigation, and home automation systems. Sized for 1-inch lines, the product can be installed on some commercial icemakers as well as the main water line into a house.
