ALEXANDRIA, Va. - The American Subcontractors Association (ASA) has released the inaugural, annual evaluation of state public policies affecting construction subcontractors and suppliers, "The ASA Report: The Policy Environment in the States." In 2004, every state received an overall grade of "F" for public policies affecting construction subcontractors and suppliers, except New Mexico, which received a "D."
Said Mat Glover, ASA president and president of Glover Masonry Associates, "The ASA Report demonstrates that no state's public policies adequately address the needs of the construction industry."
