The line of Self-Clean Air Flow Systems® reduces airflow restriction by focusing on two problem areas: the air conditioning coil and the system filter. The product employs the Environmental Protection Agency’s guidelines for reduction of indoor air contaminants. It uses a patented scrubbing process within the self-cleaning system, says the company. According to the manufacturer, benefits of the system include reduced energy costs, better comfort, longer life for the HVAC equipment, and homeowner convenience. The systems are available for HVAC systems of up to five tons and come with a 30-month warranty.
