The Slim Jim® Geo Lake Plate is a pond loop in a package, the manufacturer says. It was designed as an alternative to polyethylene pipe (lake loop) for fluid-to-fluid heat transfer in any water-cooled refrigeration, air conditioning, or heat pump equipment (lakes/ponds/rivers), states the company. Made of stainless steel, it measures 4 feet by 8 feet by 3/8 inch and weighs 147 pounds. The pressure drop at 15 gpm is approximately 6 psi. According to the company, various tonnage sizes of the Slim Jim are available and multiple units can be manifolded together for large jobs.
