An integral static pressure probe for duct mounting has been added to the company’s Series 267 low differential pressure transducers. Constructed of extruded aluminum and measuring 7.8 inches long and 1/4 inch in diameter, the probe is suitable for typical duct sizes, the company says. Features include a baffle at the tip to minimize any velocity pressure errors; a gasket to seal against the duct to prevent leakage and to provide accurate measurement; improved capacitance-sensor design to allow up to 10-psi overpressure ( in either direction) with no damage to the unit; thermally matched coefficients; ±1.0% accuracy, with optional accuracies of ±0.4% and ±0.25%, the company says.
