The company has expanded its range of compact ac drives up to 3 hp in both 230- and 460-V models. The ME2 Series oem ac drive offers an alternative to traditional dc drive applications, while allowing use of standard ac motors rather than brush-type motors, says the company. The ME2 Series has a 150% overload capacity for 1 min and is fully rated and protected, the manufacturer says. Protection features include a UL-listed, solid-state overload, and overvoltage, undervoltage, power loss ride-through, stall prevention, short-circuit ground fault protection, and heat sink overtemp sensing.
