AUSTIN, TX — The Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Institute (ARI) has asked the Texas Natural Resource Conservation Commission (TNRCC) to withdraw its proposal to require use of an ozone-conversion process.
ARI says that the proposed conversion would reduce the efficiency of central air conditioners and heat pumps at a huge cost to millions of Texas homeowners and businesses.
