Todd Hill appointed to executive committee, Anthony Kocurek as new board president
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — The Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors’ National Association (SMACNA), a player in the sheet metal and air conditioning industry, announced that the Board of Directors has appointed Todd Hill, president of Ventcon, to serve as vice president and Anthony (Tony) Kocurek, owner of Energy Balance & Integration LLC, to serve as president. Hill and Kocurek’s year-long term in office begins at the close of SMACNA’s 78th Annual Convention in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Hill began his career in 1990 as a sheet metal apprentice with Ventcon, an HVAC sheet metal mechanical contractor based in Allen Park, Michigan. While there, he received his associate’s degree in applied science in computer-aided and mechanical design from Schoolcraft College. At Ventcon, Hill became a CAD operator and advanced through several management positions, becoming president in 2005. In 2010, Hill and his two partners acquired the business.
