COLUMBUS, Ohio — HARDI is pushing for large voter turnout from the HVACR industry by launching the HARDI Votes 2016 campaign. The campaign is designed to empower HARDI member companies to impress upon their employees the importance of voting in the 2016 general election while also being a resource on election and voting information.

“This is a crucial voting year, even as major elections go,” said Jon Melchi, vice president government affairs and business development for HARDI. “This is shaping up to be a pivotal election so it’s critical that everyone take responsibility by voting. This campaign intends to spread awareness of that fact.”

The HARDI Votes toolkit provides a turnkey solution for employers to get the message out to their employees. The toolkit includes printouts, email messages, social media collateral, and other useful items that employers can begin posting and sending throughout the company to educate employees on the importance of exercising their civic duty to vote on Nov. 8.

The campaign does not endorse any particular party or candidate nor does it encourage employers to do so.
