KENNESAW, Ga. — Packard Inc., Kennesaw, Ga., reached an agreement to acquire the assets of SDC Distributing, Suwanee, Ga. SDC’s supplies small to mid-sized OEMs with critical components. According to Packard, the acquisition is expected to strengthen its strategic plan to better serve a larger segment of the small to mid-sized OEM market.
“The combination of Packard and SDC Distributing means that we will be able to grow our distribution in the OEM market and add value to this segment of the market with our complete selection of HVACR parts and components,” said Susan Kirkland, president of Packard Inc. “We are looking to build long term relationships with these customers and establish ourselves as their one source for HVACR solutions. By leveraging the strengths of both Packard and SDC, we feel confident that we can achieve this goal.”
