CLEVELAND — The National Coil Coating Association (NCCA) announced the lineup for its annual technical meeting Sept. 26-28 at the Hyatt Regency in Indianapolis.

The 2016 meeting will kickoff with a special educational seminar on pretreatment with David Cocuzzi, NCCA’s technical director. The seminar will be presented in two parts: basic chemistry and troubleshooting problems.

In addition to the special seminar, NCCA announced Alan Beaulieu, president of ITR Economics, will address the crowd. Beaulieu has presented around the world and earned a reputation for providing expert analysis of key economic indicators and reliable economic forecasts. He has been a top-rated presenter at NCCA meetings more than 10 years.

The annual trade show will take place 4:30-7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27, and offers attendees the opportunity to network with industry peers and reach qualified buyers.

“This year’s technical meeting will be an excellent event,” said Aaron Small, president of the NCCA Board of Directors. “We’re looking forward to welcoming Alan Beaulieu once again and hosting another successful technical seminar on pretreatment.”

The fall meeting will also include presentations on new pigments, advances in aesthetics, new ideas in sustainable coatings and chrome-free corrosion resistance, advancements in surface performance, and an examination of the long-term corrosion performance of buildings.
