Lime Energy and National Grid Extend Energy Efficiency Partnership Through 2016
Commitment to deliver efficiency solutions to small New York businesses
NEWARK, N.J. — Lime Energy Co. announced it has received a one-year contract extension with National Grid to continue its Small Business Program in western New York. This extension of the six-year partnership represents National Grid’s ongoing commitment to deliver efficiency solutions to its small commercial customers.
In the past six years, Lime Energy has provided energy efficiency solutions to small businesses in Buffalo and the surrounding area, including many customers located in low-to-moderate income communities. With the help of Lime Energy, these small business owners have been able to take advantage of utility incentives to upgrade inefficient refrigeration and lighting. The program has created jobs, provided steady employment to dozens of contractors, and helped commercial customers in the Buffalo area better manage their energy usage and bills.
